The American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region, founded in 1949, is the sole supplier of blood and blood products to 81 hospitals in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. In order to meet the needs of its patients, the region must collect at least 5,000 units of blood each week.

Lane Blood Center
Lane Blood Center (formerly Lane Memorial Blood Bank) is a nonprofit community organization that has been the only source of donated blood for all Lane County medical facilities since 1961. Its mission is to support and sustain life by providing a safe blood supply from volunteer donors. The Executive Director is Doug Engel.

The Oregon State University Alumni Association seeks to engage alumni and friends in the life, promotion and advancement of the University while enriching members' lives by helping them establish lifelong relationships with the University and with each other.
The OSUAA values focus on respecting alumni for their contributions, roles, and interest in the University as well as the broader community. The association provides information and opportunities for involvement that encourage alumni and friends to serve in the broader community as ambassadors for OSU and for Oregon higher education in general.
